【Judo trial】Improve your technique in the birthplace of JudoGerman judo experience

先日、家族で日本を旅行中のドイツ人男性（40代）が【Judo Experience Program】で柔道を体験されました。
The other day, a German man in his 40s who was traveling to Japan with his family tried judo.
 
ドイツ人男性は、ドイツでも柔道を嗜む柔道経験者（初段）です。
事前に「巴（ともえ）投」を教えて欲しいとご要望がありました。
The German man is an experienced judo (1st dan) who enjoys judo in Germany as well.
I had a request from him. He wanted me to teach him Tomoe-nage.
 
「巴投げ」とは自分の身を捨てて相手を投げにいく、とても難しい投技です。
“Tomoe nage” is a very difficult technique.
 
 
 
事前に日本製の柔道衣を弊社を通して注文され、準備万端で当日を迎えました。
He ordered a Japanese judo-gi in advance and was ready for the day.
 
（道場に到着されてから聞いた話しでは、この日をとても楽しみにしてくださっていたそうです）
He told us that he was looking forward to this day very much.
 
 
 

柔道体験、スタート！
Judo experience begins！

奥様と3人のお子様が見守る中、いよいよ日本での柔道体験が始まりました！
With his family watching, the Judo experience in Japan has finally begun!
 

 
担当した指導者から、相手の重心を崩すことの大切さやそのやり方等を細かく丁寧にお伝えし、「力に頼る柔道」ではなく、「柔よく剛を制す」を投技を通して体感していただきました。
The instructor in charge carefully taught the importance of breaking the opponent’s balance and how to do it.
He experienced Judo, which does not rely on force （「Soft and fair goes far.」）.
 

 
 
 

体験後の感想

先生には、本当に細かい所まで丁寧に教えていただいたので、ドイツで30年間柔道をしてきた中でも、全く知らなかった技の詳細を今回新しく知ることができた。今までで一番の柔道レッスンで、貴重な体験ができました。
 
ドイツで柔道家のみんなと、話し合っていても、分からなかった事や、なぜ出来ないのか分からなかった部分がわかった。
 
知識としては知っていたつもりだったが、実感が持てなかった、重心を意識したくずし方を、今回先生に実際やっていただき、初めて！その感覚を「体感」できて感動しました！

He was able to learn new technical details that he was completely unaware of.
I had the best judo lesson ever.It was a very valuable experience.
I understood a lot of things that I didn’t understand even when I was talking with judo-ka in Germany.
I was able to experience that sensation for the first time when the teacher demonstrated how to “break the opponent’s balance.”
